Music Meets Financial Literacy:
A Park City Angel's "Remix" of the Industry
Just like Park City Song Summit, Josh Litwack of Quantizr is on a mission to elevate the music industry… not with a new sound, but with a new system.

I had the pleasure of speaking with our fellow Park City Angels member to learn more about his startup, Quantizr, and his personal journey to entrepreneurship and angel investing. Here's what I learned —
Like most of us, Josh's path to Park City and entrepreneurship was not a straight line, but every stint along the way has contributed in some experiential way, to his success. Josh began his career in the field of portfolio and risk analytics, working at heavyweight firms like Bloomberg and BlackRock. He spent a decade developing leadership skills and the sharp intuition that now shapes Quantizr's business platform. By the way, Quantizr is not Litwack's first rodeo! His first venture, Paragon Data Labs, scaled from startup to exit in just three years, and was acquired by publicly traded Intapp (NASDAQ: INTA) .
After the impressive exit and a well-deserved hiatus traveling the world with his wife, Josh landed in Park City. The draw was a love of music, skiing, and all things mountain. It turned out to be the perfect launchpad for a life of living and giving.
When you speak to Josh, you immediately sense his intense energy, boundless ambition, and love of life. He has the gumption to keep climbing and solving problems, while remembering to live in the moment and, above all, give back. Retirement was never really a fit for Josh…. bored with the leisure life, for the past three years Josh has poured his experience into the next generation of entrepreneurs. As a faculty member at the University of Utah's Master of Business Creation program, he mentors innovative local companies, including fellow Park City Angels portfolio company Board Budder. Josh also serves as the Utah chapter leader of the Post-Exit Founders Community, a global peer network for entrepreneurs navigating personal growth, wealth, and their next chapters after a successful exit.
Even with all this to fill his plate, the itch to build never faded…..
"My personal passion in life is financial literacy and helping people make better financial decisions with data."
At first, it's an unusual thought to pair financial literacy and live music as a business venture, but for this Founder and CEO, it made perfect sense. Quantizr’s AI-powered platform is transforming how music professionals manage tours, deals, and workflows by giving artists and entertainment groups a faster, smarter way to handle contracts, forecast revenue, and make thoughtful, data-backed operational decisions. In an industry still buried in archaic spreadsheets, Quantizr uses AI to eliminate the hours of manual busywork that consume an artist's time, energy, and ultimately, their bottom line.
Just last month, Quantizr closed a $5 million seed round, led by TTV Capital. This was an incredible milestone added to an already impressive record for the 38-year-old founder.
What We Can Learn from Josh -
As an angel investor and mentor to startups, as well as a two-time founder himself, Josh brings a valuable perspective to entrepreneurship. He is candid about how much the startup landscape has changed:
"Building a business today is way different than when I created my first venture. The context level is different in the world of AI."
In Josh's mind, the shift is a chance, as much as it is a responsibility, to challenge old assumptions and help founders move forward in new ways.
It's also why organizations like Park City Angels are so valuable to him. PC Angels offers access to diverse experience and collective wisdom from local leaders — legends who've jumped the hurdles, climbed the mountains, and come out on top.
Whether he's wearing his founder hat or his investor hat, Josh's philosophy is summed up with the idea of creating win-win situations.
-
Valuations: Focus on the long term by considering valuations and outcomes with real staying power.
-
People: Bet on people by prioritizing relationships that create genuine value.
-
Business & Experience: Build the right team. Hire those who share your ethics and your ambition.
-
Congratulations to Josh and the Quantizr team on their $5M seed round — we're proud to have you as part of the Park City Angels community!
